We recommend using a 0.28mm layer height and 10-90% infill, depending on the part. Use support where necessary, but avoid tree support to reduce print failures.
Frenchfinity holders can be mounted on a standard French cleat wall or directly screwed into any surface with our base plate adapters.
Yes, all models are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0, meaning they are free for non-commercial use and sharing.
If you’re using the plastic-only version, no additional tools are required. For wooden versions, you may need a table saw and a t-slot cutter for the cleat and mounting holes.

The router bit we use for FRENCHFINITY is called "ENT 17735 T-Nutfräser M5" in Germany. You can buy it from here: https://amzn.to/3BAabY4. We could also send you the bit when you are not able to purchase it from your country. For this, we would only charge the purchase price + shipping (non-profit). The details are shown on the picture below. Please send us a link to any non-German shop if you know one, since this one of the most asked questions so far.
Our french cleats have roughly the following dimensions: width: 20mm, height: 55mm, angle: 45°. We recommend your cleats to be at least 20mm in width since it will be backwards compatible to smaller cleats. The other way round is not possible.
